Collection of smaller projects done at Acapella Media LLC
Some of the smaller, quick projects I've done.
The evolution of the Tahini logo for a falafel restaurant opening up in downtown Chicago. The client enjoyed the bean character very much, and I was quite happy he picked this design because it was my favorite as well! The bean character is loosely based on the Fava bean which is one of the main ingredients of a falafel.
Small print ad for the Chicago Tribune for the 2010 Thai Festival. This was made quite early in my design career, and I certainly see some things I wish I had done differently, but it was exciting to see it printed. The festival was a lot of fun too (and also very delicious)!
Logo for John Marques Diamonds, a new diamond distributor. The client liked the idea of a coat of arms.
I designed the logo and icons for Pixtapes, a new web app that is in the spirit of '80s mixtapes, but with photos from momentous adolescent occasions. Client wanted to go for a sketchy, hipster type vibe.
Promotion for the new Kincaid's website featuring an arrangement of nice photography from the film shoot and a little tagline.
Here is a ridiculous flyer for the Columbia College fencing team that I drew in 2009. It was done in the spirit of the Grindhouse movies that were popular at the time. It created quite a buzz at the college, many new students joined the club, and I received a lot of positive comments about this flyer, even though it is roughly painted and sketched.
