Casey Moran's Pub Chicago
This was the first project I worked on at Acapella Media in April of 2010. Casey Moran's hired us to recreate their website which was quite outdated and simplistic. The pub itself is one of the largest and most extravagant around Wrigley Field, so we sought to create a web experience that highlighted it's extravagance and strong Wrigleyville culture.

For a first project, I was given a lot of responsibility, from ideation, concept drawing, color rendering, client presentations, and even Flash animation. Living close to the bar and visiting the neighborhood certainly helped with ideation. While working on a Casey's, I also was assigned to illustrate elements for other bar websites owned by Casey's, such as Kelsey's Chicago, and worked on storyboarding video for the Kincaid's website.

A preview image created as a place holder while the site was created. The "Cheers! + Ivy" concept was quickly ideated and rendered in Photoshop with a tablet in one afternoon by myself.
One of the initial sketches from the first day of the project, after a visit to the bar.
Colored drawing of the website concept for the client to review. This design was approved.
The animated concept for client review. The photoshop artwork was separated and brought into After Effects for animation.
A 3D modeler created the bar for the website based on my drawings. The separated elements were later animated in Flash.

Example of a video background scene from the Kincaid's website. I was hired to make storyboards for the different scenes for the background.
